A forested idyll
Where the perfect desire
Beautiful mountains
The softest of lyre
Music to dream by
Magically so
Be embraced by the nature
That doth earnestly grow
On the true unsuspecting
It’s tranquil for sure
From ancient beginnings
A place to adore
Apartments and rooms
A haven of peace
Of being able to rest
And enjoy your release
From the rigours of city
A forested calm
In tune with Nature
An abundance of charm
You feel so much closer
To the genuine soul
Of What is Wales
You just take on the role
Of believer of traveller
Able to be
More restful more thoughtful
Discerningly
The great wash of mountains
All colours providing
Crystal clear cascading
Rivers dividing
Farm lots and stretches of magnificent light
That honestly grabs one
And just does excite.
A colourful sky
A vista of peace
Battalions of tall trees
Provides some release
Of life to the weary
Exploring it all
Around us such beauty
On which we can call
The people all caring
All sharing where we
Stayed at number 5 the apartment
To be
Wrapped in seclusion
In comfort it’s true
Exploring the out pouring
And the vast view
The Gothic stonework
Dark with a style
Hewn from the earth
Mile after mile
Dotted on high ground
Their urgent lament
Legendary craftsmen
Where So much time was spent
I must say I so love the buildings
Our apartment had been painted white
The Forest surrounding us howling
And by Jove the wind had a bite
That pinked up the ears that’s for certain
But these ancient houses create
Foundations of strength and of safety
All warm and cosy a trait
At daybreak the remarkable light it returns
Giving tone to the ongoing day
It’s much more dramatic up in the North
in this cottage haven away
From the brick and the modern day buildings
Common in England today
Built of the
Much cheaper aggregate and rendered
For me thus it leads me to say
The North has a look that’s more natural
It blends into mountains and I
Love really being organic
The earth and the rock and the sky
The lady was helpful and pleasant
Thoughtful and caring was she
The rental for sharing this lovely abode
Was clearly competitively
Priced fair and square warm and thoughtful
A warm bed all part of the scene
Lying so close to the woods and the trees
And the mountains it just felt more green
