The unfortunate calf (one of many millions)

The dairy
Said to be wholesome
Kindly and the rest
It’s all about the female
The udder and the breast
Rape kidnap and cruelty
Torture and the rest
Murder when it suits them
When the price is best

The cow goes through such horror
Pummelled everyday
Made to feel she is helpless
In every Nasty way
When her baby is born
It is stolen
In front of her
It’s gone
The mother knows it’s probably going
To die out there upon

The truck or in the slaughterhouse
Or just shot in the barn
She knows that
she’s it’s mother
She has heard many a yarn
She knows the truth
It’s happened many times before
And the calf, her little baby
That the world soon will ignore

The dairy sells the calves food
So the calf gets processed stuff
If it’s going to veal production
It’s flesh Must not be tough
It needs to be pink colour
Whitish even, veal
Needs to be so tender
For each human meal

The calf is totally unaware
It’s incapacity
It’s never drunk from a trough before
It’s the udder where it be
An inappreciation for this tasteless
Sloppy stew
Never any schooling
So they do not know what to do

They snort the slops into their nose
With their head down how can they
Suckle in any instinctive way
Of feeding every day
Bewildered by the trough
The taste the sloppiness
That feels
Not nutritionally sound enough
In essence it reveals

An unenlightened baby
Stressed beyond the pale
With its imperfect knowledge
Ofcourse it’s going to fail
Chained up in a measly hutch
Like a captive rabbit
This poor soul
Who should be with a loving mother
Fully in control.
But in stead is really suffering
Is starving every day
None of the rich colostrum
Too strengthen it each day
Only sloppy whiteness to ruin all its meat
And make it white and soft
For the toothless ignorant rich to eat.

BUY YOUR VEAL AND I HOPE IT CHOKES YOU ALL
