Mother Nature she’s always there a poem requested by Tree Sisters

Mother Nature

she’s always there

she fixes things

she’s so aware

man comes along

with his violent ways

logs the forests

and who pays

the trees, the saplings

the insects the birds

honestly we should mind our words

for Mother Nature she just pays

to turn the clock back

to a phase

where equilibrium

helps us see

that the passage of time

does hold the key

to regeneration

for creation builds

with wind and rain and soul

the fields

grow again

for arrogance

has no place in the great romance

Mother Nature the goddess who

survives the onslaught

and remains true

great swards may perish

but still we see

an ever expanding possiblity

Look at the ravages of fire

of flood and earthquake

it feels dire

to the human spirit but we see

a landscape

and a fertility

a greening

and a place of care

For Mother Nature does not despair

the way of man

is to try and tame

often his methods

just inflame

his lack of understanding can

ruin the truly natural plan

but despite all that

with wisdom vast

she can rebalance and rekindle fast

with some of her allies

the wild souls who

join together and make it through

look to her spirit

look to her flair

remember my dears

she is always there

man can destroy

he is so good at that

but he cannot create

out of where he is at

and this is his failing

from forest to glade

and into a desert his poisons

he’s laid

But Nature has answers

she builds as we err

and proves she can do it

she does concur

she has the power

she has the time

she has the spirit

contained in this rhyme
