an abomination for a nation
a detestation of creation
a disaffection for a section
a malediction which isn’t fiction
just a simple lad
a Palastinian
wrote on facebook
like we often do
its hard to sleep around here now
the shells and bombs
are now not few
thats what he wrote on his facebook page
yesterday
he was not a sage
just an ordinary, kind of boy
who loved life
and of course the joy
nonpolitical just out there
the breath of summer
he did share
living in Gaza
he was aware
The state of Israel
was over there
armed to the teeth
with nuclear stuff
the rhetoric beastly
life was tough
a young man’s outlook
different from mine
all that confidence
that does enshrine
youth today
almost everywhere
but Gaza
now
place of despair
the bombs came over
the shells did too
and blew his house skywards
who’d rue
the fortune really
of that embrace
blown to smithereens
disgrace
killing the innocent
slaughtering the souls
who also shared
the similar goals
to ordinary people everywhere
but he died
and his ride
was out of there
an explosive end
to a facebook friend
who I didn’t know
but i DO KNOW NOW
iSRAEL rogue state alas
who likes to kill people on mass
innocent souls
who have no fight
who only wanted to feel the light
to breathe the air
to smell the rain
but had no chance against
the insane
