Pigs put up with so much upset

Pigs are treated abominably
Tortured by those who
Buy their house with the proceeds
And their farms of course it’s true
Animals that are intelligent
Clean and make nests they
Are often kept in squalor
And are made to pay
Castrated as children
Beaten black and blue
Teeth chipped by some farm hand
And tails cut off too
Made to live in their own mess
Pigs don’t want this they
Don’t want to sleep where they dump
No sweat glands
