We got a better turn out

a number of us came

we took a bit of stick from some

its all part of the game

we are all there for the animals

stripped of their precious skin

so we take the stick

and they take the mick

but expletives will never win

we will never give up

that’s what we say

not till the animals can

die in the skin

that they were born in

at a true  age

only then can we  win

sourced furs from countries

now where

animals rights are non existent

despair

Peter was there with his camera

working away  gutter side

it can be quite dangerous

for buses come close

its precarious

and that’s not denied 

chanting our messages over and over

we carry on all the day

a lot of leaflets were taken as well

we are really in everyone’s way

our good seeds are now  being sown

it appears

more people coming to see

some want to argue no matter

we argue

chants bellow shout

shed some tears

people tell people that’s how it happens

there was lots of interest today

they wander along in the sunshine

you see

and meet up with us right away

Quite a few beeps from

some of the horns

thumbs up from quite a few more

its getting through to them

many agree

and think poorly of this

big store

of course people push through

and go there

but don’t come back

laden with bags

I do think we are making a difference

Up to now we are not waving flags

but we are feeling, that it is working

we’re becoming a thorn in their side

Its Saturday trade

in their hands now its laid

as we say we are there for the ride
