Humans waste products are killing the oceans

Oil based plastic products
and material from ships
is getting into the ocean
of course it now outstrips
a lot of organisms
and of course the mammals there
Whales and Turtles
imagine it as food
that they can share
plastic bags hang in the currents
resembling the squid
and turtles clearly swallow
them and then cannot get rid
they kill them from the inside
their digestion is no more
the oil based stuff is terrible
within the creatures core

its really playing havoc
with the oceans
and we know
large areas or dead zones
wherever HUMANS GO
areas devoid of life
just dead expanses where
life and all its myriad
forces are not there

Recently a sperm whale
off the coat of Spain
sadly lost its precious life
it was plastic again
it is becoming crucial
that somehow we must be
much more thoughtful
to our friends who live
beneath the sea
