Abuse

I do believe that abuse
can reach one’s marrow
and that Love can go to depths
of that I’m sure
the pain one sees
in this hounds eyes are evident
its something that festers
for evermore
but love creates a bond
between two aching hearts
and that power is forever
I believe
being safe after abuse
gives rise to some uncertainty
but trust and an open mind
let’s all, achieve
