The slaughterhouse
Holds the stench of death
it permeates the atmosphere
slippery flooring
Machine noise
the animals they feel the fear
Captive bolt guns have to be
aimed well or tragically
killing happens and agony is reached alas
regrettably
kosher and Haldi frighteningly so
they can bleed out as the fear does grow
supposed religious extermination
Sees suffering and huge consternation
mothers undergoing rape
three or four times
then giving birth
calves removed kidnap is worth
more upset for the mother cow
her suffering is really how
some get lame and face the path
of no return and daily wrath
fork lifts drag them to the truck
Dragging them injured through the muck
imagine the mother going through
the agony that does ensue
manhandled onto transport they
suffer really all the way
until their death
