A Cancerian from Constantine
In Cornwall
a cardinal sign
An energetic soul
Who simply does align
Driven by her own feelings
A pig in Chinese Astrology
A feminine water pig
Works on her own iniative
With a heart that’s really big
Caring loving devoted sociable and kind
Very energetic though
And is inclined to see
Exhaustion by her output
And so she needs to be
A little bit more balanced
Prevention has to be
better than cure for Linda
Who I hope agrees with me
She actually enjoys talking
And by so doing learns
When working she is methodical
And she clearly turns
Her hand to lots of gardening
Knitting photography honestly
Is tolerant and challenges herself
And constantly
She makes friends very easily
Life time friends in fact
She is optimistic
In the way she does react
With people and with differences
In that she trusts, and
Is just wonderful to be with
For Does understand
Originally came from Macclesfield
Went to the high school there
But when she moved to Cornwall
Just loved the sea and air
Lives in true seclusion in a lovely
House where she
Gardens in two acres of land
Exclusively
Growing fruits and vegetables
And busying herself each day
At the bottom of the garden
Her feline sister she does lay
Quietly poor “Pearl” past away
But Her son “Charlie” does roam
The gardens and the house
In what is their lovely home
When Linda’s in the garden.
she often talks to Pearl”
It’s humbling in many ways
How respect can just unfurl
And relationships can last
For lifetimes and memories evolve
And it’s clear her aesthetic awareness
Helps Linda to solve
And perhaps regards
Dear Charlie
who she loves and cared for
When
The poor lad got run over
With his jaw and teeth and then
She even slept and comforted him
In her caring loving way
Helped to heal his angst and woe
And got him though each day
Lucky numbers 2 and 5 and 8
It seems to me
Colour wise grey and yellow
And brown appealingly
Action rather than over planning
On Facebook where I found
Posts concerning important
Animal stories
Those around
Falmouth and
More locally
The dolphins in Mounts Bays
And the donkey Sanctuary
Heartfelt one has to say
Photography a talent
Where memories are laid
To share and just recreate
The happiness parade
Of landscapes and of others
Who see and so record
And being married to a musician
Who creates and does reward
The ears and souls of many
Afterlife and now
Beauty in the gentle
The responsiveness of how
Soulful intense effusive tones
Gentle to the ear
Becomes a shared experience
An enchant oh! so clear
A fifteen year sabbatical
Away from London Town
Where 95 miles of shoreline
and the Fal is rolling down
Where Kenneth Grahame realised
The mole the rat the toad
And not forgetting the badger
And the “Wind in the willows”
Owed
Much to the pure vistas
The inspiration he
Got from all the sounds of gulls and others
Near the sea
The vibrancy the light
The truest Celtic flavoured soul
Of living in pure history
And taking on that role
