Illegal poacher shot dead

This happened in Matabeleland
In a private conservancy
BUBYE VALLEY west of Beitbridge
In Zimbabwe and apparently
illegal poachers
After killing black rhino and they
Shot a young male Lion alas
which brought the rangers
To engage with them so they say
One was killed and one escaped
To kill another day.

This area is a pristine low veld area
Packed with wildlife
And safari’s selling kills
35 different species there
Pays your money takes the shots
It’s called conservation hunting
A bunch of mindless bots
But hunters pay a lot to do the dirty work
And big game is a draw across the world
So there’s lots of these safaris selling packages
And the title conservation one hears hurled
If you pay the hunting rates
You are welcome
If you come illegally you are not
Clearly these two they were after rhino horn
And Lion bones too for illegal trade is hot

China’s power and influence is clearly
Contributing to the illegality
Rhino horn though keratin and with no healing qualities
Is lied about and scoundrels prick their ears
make the trip to earn a fair old packet
And in the process cause a lot of tears
The impact on wild Rhino’s is catastrophic
Encouraging such low life to appear
And they really do not recognise authority
Which is why in Africa great fear
Exists and so to kill one of them clearly
Is a feather in their cap one has to say
They really want to catch the other blighter
Who seemingly might now be far away
These kinds of low life are sub normal mentally
Short-sighted thoughtless individuals who
Are duplicitous and fraudulent in their dealings
Deceitful lying cretins it is true
Iniquitous and sinful every thought they ever have
Obnoxious vile and villainous they be
We have to put an end to all this filthy dirty poaching
Hang the buggers from the nearest tree
