Thoughtless

Mindlessness and ignorance
Licensed cruelty
Inconsideration
Is not how it should be
It’s never entertainment
Empty headed maybe so
Irrational and thoughtless
That is Rodeo

It’s truly inconceivable
To me it’s an ugly state
An Imageless extraction
A completely brainless trait
A slovenly persuasion
A misreckoning of sorts
Unconscious to a feeling
Uncertain of ones thoughts

Uncultured truly misinformed
To me an absurdity
A senselessness
And unbalanced
Complete insanity
Psychopathy is present
It’s a madness to be sure
This is an age of cruelty
Seldom seen before

Deranged demented morons
Pontificating that they
Are skilful with their rope techniques
That create so much dismay
Disingenuous behaviour
On the innocent who be
Thrust into the arena
And beaten mercilessly

It’s all about the drama
The theatricals we see
There is never any compromise
Just avid cruelty
Terrible bloody mindedness
Perverse cross grained and wrong
It’s wicked and injurious
And it should not belong

In this day and age
For certain
It’s a shameful act and we
Should identify it’s ugliness
And prevent it’s constancy
Calves and horses suffer
Persecuted so
Ridden really into the ground
As most of you now know

And Bulls don’t get off lightly
It’s purposeless and we
Also feel uncomfortable
When we have to see
So called cowboys threatening
And roping carelessly
And pulling calves down by the neck
Egregiously

It’s an arrant debased culture
It’s malefic all the way
It’s intolerable behaviour
To see the light of day
And for women to be watching
And children even too
It’s unbelievably diabolical
What these cowboys do

Rodeo they call it
Unheroic crap
Degenerates and reprobates
Create each violent trap
It’s kind of gladiatorial
A One sided fight we see
Terror in the victims eyes
And adversity

It’s such a wicked pastime
The suffering is immense
Hopelessness and unhappiness
And really without sense
Terrible discomfort
So wretched and so sad
The so called cowboy bullies
And the victim driven mad

A mortal chase of terror
Just horrible to see
Running like the clappers
And torn down terribly
Often they don’t get back up
Their tears we all can feel
Broken legs hang painfully
For these souls it’s so real

Craven hearted cowboys
Complete inconsideration
Mad cap hot heads
Accident prone
Far beyond their station
Haughty lofty grandiose
Braggarts everyone
I can’t abide these Rodeo men
Truthfully not one
