The silent are suffering

A few of us plead
We plead everyday
Out in the street
And in line come what May
I write for animals
Blog far and wide
I talk for the animals
I am on their side
Some seventy years I
Have written each day
I have a following
But still they slay
So many angels
In the abattoir
Halal and kosher
Wherever you are
For all sorts of reasons
Money is made
The silent are suffering
