A Lunation

Yes the moon
In all its splendour
A true lunation
It’s cycle sure
From one new moon
Until another
The exact period of time
Yes mother
She was always right
She told me
This when I
was just a child
And Simon and his lovely Lady
Never miss
Reminding us
Isn’t that just wild
