Potten End Woods

Beautiful woods
Radiantly so
Potten End’s lovely
As some of you know
Passers by some of them
Blood quality
More and more acid
And gracelessly
They toss from their cars
The unsightly the rank
Defacing our woodland
Each litter strewn bank
Of squalor and ungrateful inelegant mess
Left for the wild ones
Who might confess
To the evil monotony
Soulless killjoys
Who deface without thought
