African children

2 million children

sheer tedium

back breaking labour

frighteningly so

could not be more dangerous

child labour free

it says on its packaging

chocolate it be

Africa whimpers

African skies

witness the torment

and witness the lies

huge corporations

profitting they

feed it to children

elsewhere every day

those that do it

they know

balance sheets

hide it

the pain it does grow

imagine the fear

imagine the pain

working for nothing
in the vilest terrain
