That allows a mother to
Watch her child being tortured
Feeling fear as parents do
Imagining that animals are thoughtless seems to me
To be totally ignorant
They feel consistently
Broken hearted blatant anger
Nurturing and care
Imprisoning a child
of theirs
from whence it came
