I got stung by a wasp
And my heel was bleeding
It seems that the hot weather
Brought them into my living room
And set its sting in me
A taste of utter gloom
It’s very still this evening
Hot and muggy
Not much air about
So seemingly
It is just so uncomfortable
Just sitting
Writing poems
With Darkness coming in
Decidedly
