Adam Blackwell
Purchased a puppy
So we hear tell
Clearly unfit
To be, taking on
An animal really
It’s future foregone
He had previous history
And wasn’t
prepared
Was wholly unfit
He couldn’t have shared
His life with an animal
That much we know
With vile fits of anger
That sadly did grow
This unfortunate puppy
Was not given food
Was not given water
This man acting crude
Not seeking help from a vet
Tragically
And injured the dog
Really, so so badly
Affecting his breathing
Ribs broken through
Imagine the shock and the pain
It was true
Damaged his legs
And burning his face
This callous brute
Was a total disgrace
The RSPCA
Took his vile case to law
Two years in prison
He should have had more
The torture, the agony
That puppies life
Was dreadful so painful
Each day so much strife
The judge made it clear
For the future
No pets
Such terrible cruelty
Really it sets
A precedent obviously
He couldn’t be
Trusted with animals
If you asked me
He used a knuckle duster
And was off his head
On cannabis it was reported
Which led
Him into this horrible squalor
Of care
This poor soul
Had to be put down.
