Even a wild eagle appreciates being saved

A wild bird with talons good and strong
Fell into a swamp it took a wrong
Path and ended up in mud
Was saved by a man with the same pure blood
Rescued treated and made to see
The world outside indelibly
Brought back to life loved in a way
Thought and care was on display
