Mica

A mineral mined
And used a great deal
In make up
It’s glittery
Used to appeal
It comes for Bihar
In a india where
It’s oft mined by children
You may be unaware
The issue is known about
And people try
To provide some protection
Lush you see they
Use synthetic mica
Others it’s more grey
Fair trade certification
That’s what some quote
But children may suffer
Something you should note.
These mines collapse sometimes
And When a child dies
The family gets £330
Realise
It’s happening really
And users must be
Aware of what is
A true tragedy
