Thistles and their power

Masculine gender
Planets Mars
Element Fire
Vitality stars
A bowl of thistles
Placed in a room
Strengthens the spirits
And lifts the gloom
Grown in the garden
Wards off the thief
And a blossom in your pocket
Protects you of grief
Put in boiling water
And remove from heat
Sit beside it ask the spirits and
Listen for their answers
