For time spent on the internet
The prescriptive text can be
A really frustrating medium
For the vocabulary
Of computers of the coding
There is no certainty
No but lateral thinking
Or illogicality

The imaginative the colourful
The ancients might have used
Creative and resourceful
The prescriptive it’s abused
My train of thought so many times
In what it tries to do
Alter what I am saying
It has its different view

Colloquialism manifests
Semantics sometimes too
Trouble with alliteration
Google thinks that you
Are ignorant and can’t spell
No matter what you do
The cadence and the meter
And the rhyming two by two
