Poor cow

Licking the paint and condensation
Off the trailer wall
She is thirsty she is hungry
And no one heeds her call
She is in a filthy trailer
The slaughterhouse in sight
The MEAT TRADE is the murder Trade
dead flesh now inspite
Of all the avid cruelty
Of the negligence we see
A poor cow tired and weary
She licks the wall for free
Supping condensation
Thats her last refrain
The farmers care for nothing
For them she is their gain

Contrary to reason
The poor souls have to be
Suffering from the moment
That they leave the farm
And see
The slaughterhouse yes all those miles
Away till they hear the rancour there
And smell the blood of the dead and dying
Who do so And then share

The public are mislead
Of course
most of them do not know
The agony they go through
All that too and fro
Many dairy cows are lame
And are fork lifted off the truck
And now halal and kosher
Deaths
play havoc with their pluck

The cow she licks the walls
She’s very thirsty very sad
Frightened she is engineered to know
When jack the lad
Piles them into the trailers
That death is near at hand
Their throats are going to feel the wrath
Fear factoring best understand
Its going to heap the cholersterol
And bitterness of taste
Into consumers karmic debt
With inconclusive haste
