Are we really all in touch

There’s a wickedness before me
An amorality
Demoralising in its approach
And it’s obliquely
It’s hiding the enormity
The transgression of the case
To demerit and to shift the blame
To the individual’s space
In so many ways it’s unpardonable
For it trespassers upon
Each individual’s decency
And conscience and they don
This piece of digital innocence
And wear it everyday
On their person close to their heart
Which to me brings on the dismay
Of these especially sensitive frequencies
Interfering and
Spreading a kind of negativity
Which most can’t understand.

We see the various videos of
Cops acting like thugs
Over doing the aggression
And so very short on hugs
It’s all about the taser
The choke holds and the rest
Where is the understanding
It’s horrible at best

Changes are apparent
But they are clearly seen
A lot of us are worried
And those that of course have been
At the wrong end of this aggression
Feel the police state idea looms
With some already dead and gone
And rotting in their tombs
We must instal compassion
And an empathy for all
Everybody has the choice
Anyone can fall
Below the ruddy parapet
Anyone of us
We have to realise the worth
And if in doubt discuss

This move away from humanity
To the cyborg fraternity
To the digital chips
Let’s get to grips
With base insanity
We are absolutely miraculous
In what we can do and see
We have the brains to be positive
Leave the negativity
Out of our decisions
Create that natural sense
Of what is much more grounded
With it’s gifts and true suspense
Much much more to learn about the animals
Around
The fauna and the lovely trees
And the insects that abound
This should be our future
Using what we possess
Not searching into digital spheres
And creating yet more stress
