It’s absolutely madness
And seemingly to me
That to put a tunnel under Stone Henge
Is never a victory
It’s a Neolithic disaster
On a scale never before
Thought let alone allowed to be
Happening for sure
Cameron said there is money
And economically we can
Deface this amazing monument
Watch it go down the pan
Those that, tender for this job
Had better realise
They will really get a shock for sure
An historical surprise
To set the labourers onto this
Their ignorance will be
Dramatic when it comes to it
I ask remember me
When all to cock goes haywire
And the structures down below
Crumble and are ruined
It will be, such a blow
For all these Tory quangos
And historians to boot
Who are thinking of the 303
And lots of lovely loot
But Stone Henge the glorious monument
Those iconic standing stones
Will be trashed out of existence
By robots on their phones
By the computerised motor cars
It will have all gone west
The tunnel is a massive waste of money
Which at best
Will ruin what is an amazing site
Contrary to belief
5000 years of history
And now enormous grief
An unblest inglorious structure
That forces it’s way through
And by so doing destruction
Takes place on top of you
All I hope is that if it does go forward
That we shall see
The Tories in the tunnel
When it falls down and they be
Questioned as to the reasoning
And what’s to become of it all
The light blue puppets made of wood
With their backs against the wall
