Rooted in Somerset

What grabs you more than grapefruit with a twist of citrus lime
And apples grown in Somerset so crisp and so divine
Sprigs of fragrant mint that cool and sensuously provide
The flavour it just bursts and sends the taste buds far and wide

Behold the pigs are grubbing in the orchard for they know
The apples that have fallen are the sweetest ones that grow
They are the ones that Mother Nature allocates to see
If they can reach the earth and grow into another tree

The orchard pigs are clever they know a thing or two
They root out these fermented fruits and do what they must do
Select the biggest of them and on the sweet flesh chew
The squelch the oink the passion the winds that blow the trees
And dance and sway both night and day to wondrous melodies

The ear that’s ultra sensitive the orchard pigs know why
In the larder what a wealth lies stored underneath the sky
What spirited enchantment that Somerset provides
Such harmony so idyllic Behold the heart that glides

Skywards to the heavens as the citrus liquor flows
Luscious juicy wonderment that reaches to ones toes
An exhilarating complexity that invites the heart to feel
And appreciate the ecstasy that just feels very real

Totally minted
Pink grapefruit and mint
With a zesty twist of lime
