Remember the pledge they have given and try to understand
How cruel these seine net devices are
They know this anyway
And the fact that they are still using them
Mean the other species pay

Silky sharks Ocean White tips marlin
Turtles too
Scooped up fresh and vibrant
And made to die its true
So few ever make it back alive
Death is the price they pay
For being caught in seine nets
They just fade away

When buying john west tuna
Or princes tuna you
Must realise they use FAD systems
Green peace knows this too
A terrible waste of ocean life
Hundreds of creatures die
Suffocated on their ships
And of course we must ask why

The likes of john west and princes
Names that we all know
Names that should know better
They all are in the flow
But care not for the ocean
If they did they would
Stop using FAD devices
As they know they should

It really is horrendous
How can they sleep at night
Sitting in their boardrooms
Yea the fish all out of sight
Rotting in the ocean
Lost for evermore
Because seine netting had been used
They are on the ocean floor

And they just have no excuses
The carnage is too much
We are talking about precious souls
Created souls as such
Destroyed just wasted for no reason
It’s a human trait
Of losing a sense of proportion
At an alarming rate

Change their tune today
Give us all a statement
Saying seine nets will go away
Rod and line and thought
Is what they will use
For evermore
Or we should boycott both these brands
And ban them from the store
