Bear man

I am the son of Delilah

a hunter me, supreme

its true I live in hertfordshire

of the counties its the cream

wonderful green meadows

trees in which to hide

fields of corn and barley

to just wander inside

the fleas though

really get to me

those big brutes

from the fields

biting always biting

as the irritation builds

my dear  human mother

is as patient as she can be

she takes me into the kitchen

and tries to de flea me

I sit still when she cuddles me

her perfume and her smile

he soft hands and her love and care

I share with her a while

She knows I have skin problems

thats the one bane of my life

I sit out on the neighbours shed

and try to avoid the strife

I also go a hunting

for those field mice that abound

and sometimes bring a gift back

for my human who I’ve found

is none to keen about that

but then us cats provide

gifts for humans who we love

and they come from deep inside

I love being with my human

and of course by dear mama

I suppose I am a bit unfair

eating her food, we are

not exactly inseparable

but sometimes in the sun

will lay out on the patio

and sleep until we are done

To find a special human

is very very hard

our own is the most beautiful

in every way she’s starred

her clothes her smile

her loveliness

and one particular friend

who comes around

called xxxy

he’s lovely too

I spend

Time

me and delilah know the sound

his car makes and we

if we can we welcome him when he comes

and he does  pat me

my mum loves him to tickle her

and well he is unique

he has real love inside of him

if a bit antique!

I know he cares for Nature

and I know he cares for me

and I know he likes my human

and its where he likes to be

he dresses up the garden

and wanders too and fro

talking to the faeries

and the little folk below

I am glad that he has found us

a magician so I hear

and the goddess of Aradia

I am glad that she lives here
