in one’s life one finds a vast array of emotions
as a child perhaps un be knowing of so much
there is not the realisation of a parents needs
reality can mean your out of touch
but in a child’s mind there can be great visions
that sally back and forth and won’t depart
whatever they are ,they are meaningful
and permanent
really part and parcel of the heart
a mother is the angel in the mirror
a mother is the fantasy around
a mother makes it happen
a mother waves her wand
perception is the father I have found
whatever happens whether dreams
or nightmares
the child may blame the mother
on all counts
and as the child grows up
and becomes a mother
she may recall
how she felt
as she mounts
the various stumbling blocks
that may present themselves
and tries in many way
so to fulfil
maybe she does
or possibly she doesn’t
but it means her love is
endless really still
and as the years pass
and her mother ages
and her needs grow
with each passing hour
that she may call on her daughter
for some favours
and once again neglect
may sort of sour
one’s thoughts
those years when possibly
one’s life could have been good
instead somehow it was not to be
though honestly it should
that said a soul emerges
as warm and as kind and does
forget the bad times
and draw s on the reserves
and with a buzz
that draws heartfelt emotions
and gives it out at will
loves the mother
loves her so
letting it all spill
the mother should have given more
but the child became the soul
who now can teach the mother
can now take on that role
despite so many problems
the daughter may still find
a willingness to help her mum
though it may be, a bind
she can do it from her heart
she wants to make the time
resentment in the background
for she’s the glowing spirit
who will climb
who gives her love so purposefully
in a realm of her own making
adversity has strengthened her
and she’s giving now not taking
neglect can be a lasting stain
on a child that felt alone
but a child who learned and realised
that from all the wild flowers sown
the one’s that come to fruition
and produces the sweetest scent
is the one that she remembers most
and thus remains content
the mother may feel sorry
seeing the daughters display
and really then regretting
some things she did say
and some things she forgot to give
the mother may now feel
humbled by the kindness
that somehow she does steal
reality resentment recounted
possibly
but the soul has grown in stature
and is flying admirably
maybe sometimes reflecting
on if, then what might be
but thinking now to be able
to help provide that key
that doesn’t really open the door
too well but clearly she
can at least get inside
with some effort
which we see
and what that tells us
is
the daughters stature
grew and grew
she had a heart
much bigger than the heart
perhaps of 2
daughters
had the mother had them
and with this we see
an image of great beauty
for perpetuity
