British Gas are heavily into Fracking
I’ve told them straight it so upset me to
hear they have their fingers in the fracking pot
In Australia it will cost a job or two
QGC is the corporation out there
who have the where for all to tear down trees
not even the local people are able to do that
But QGC can just do what they please

it really isn’t ecologically sustainable
the methane/radon contamination scene
the air the water the environment
its such a messy business
and really far removed from being green

we are green for believing what they are saying
our politicians are as daft as brushes too
giving them bloody tax breaks and carte blanche
applications
blinding them with science and how that does accrue
methane in the air is getting serious
flaming gas can, be nasty too
what to do with all the fracking water
and the earthquake element is it down to you?

to me, to them but we will have to take the can
long term it is a total waste of good
it turns the sweet environment to garbage down below
and we shouldn’t do this because we think we should

the land your home or business might just
be on your freehold
but underneath the property its there’s
they can buy the right and mine below your house
best say your prayers
because you are going to need them
that’s for certain
the noise the smells the pollution’s going to come
you’ll be getting sludge out of your taps before too long
so take a tip from me ,and just have some

say make sure you get it all in writing
because they’ll stitch you up the red tape will
get into your psyche you wont have a leg to stand on
with all their money what you say they’ll kill
fracking water has got a lot of nasties
the proppants thats the sand will come back and
may end up polluting half your garden
and once again you will not understand

the money they make is really in the first year
thereafter its can dwindle so they say
that’s when the the water table can be badly hit
and gas can really begin to make you pay
the cheaper gas forget it it won’t happen
they rake off the profits pretty quick
it all goes pear shaped as time passes by
that’s when people around start feeling sick

the methane seepage and the other crap
the air you breathe may very well need monitoring
there is mining where you are living its your trap
they sod off and live in some other area
they will frack their neighbourhood for they know
the house prices will tumble like a stack of cards
stealth becomes the key as profits grow

of course then it will dawn on you they messed up
but you will lose your trousers any way
you will lack empowerment having lost your little nest egg
and they’ll go off where someone else will pay
and so it goes on frackiing will costs people
their life saving their nest eggs and their lot
and all these rich investors and all these bloody banksters
they will have their fingers in the pot
