Sunder must still be there wondering
when the red tape is cut back
here was an elephant gifted by someone
to a temple who began their attack
on him
he got beaten and chained up and left
in dirty dark shed all alone
this a wild soul with a wild carefree heart
treated by souls made of stone

they never cared for him
they never shared with him
love and affection oh! no
they beat him and got all upset
with him most days
his pain it continued to grow

Peta stepped in
and the high court have ruled
he must be sent to a sanctuary
fooled
by the negligent behaviour
soon he will be
out of the clutches of the Temple
and he
no doubt will be pleased
I know I would be
the religious types
are a pain all can see

just before Christmas
the court meets again
hopefully Sunder will escape the pain
and be housed in a sanctuary
loved and be true
to himself little Sunder
thats what he should do
