a simple story of a love beyond the clouds

Have you ever felt the crystal ice cold water
from a mountain stream
that pours along and seemingly is energised
by the condors dream
well, every time I see your face
and realise that someone’s made
this beautiful and precious gaze
and in the early morning light the hand of some soul
laid

a subtle brush to paint that nose
those ears those lips
I do suppose
such sweet perfection seldom can
be witnessed really since Time began

transfixed on one so pretty
that curiousness one sees
a courage far ahead of most
in a forest dense with trees
you can see her sometimes floating
with her besom and her owl
a tawny feathered darling
with a rather wolfish howl

she has so many dresses
and her leggings look the part
and she is a goddess in my eyes
with a wholly wondrous heart
her kindness is a quality
her love of course a power
significantly above all others
she has the path of now

her pace to learn
unmatched me thinks
for she not only can
be seen as the most beautiful
but I am her most avid fan
I love her more than life itself
I love her sweet heart so
her eyes,and lips and her timid hips
her really special glow

she has an eye for beauty
in the bags and jewellery
her clothes take on an aura
of complete majesty
everything about her gait
is wonderful and true
her skin is like true porcelain
with a hint of morning dew

a lovely neck her skin is smooth
like coconut and Shea
with a perfume from the whitest flower
and energy they say
of a firefly in the evening mist
that circles our ramparts grey
and her magic has a resonance
that makes me want to say

“I love her every the morning
I love her every night
I love her at Imbolc
when forest trees stand white
I love her at Ostara when the birds
begin to sing
and at Beltane when the sitar
can be heard and so can bring
I love her at Mabon
when the leaves turn into gold
and at Samhain when the mystical
on such things all are sold
in the witchy garden
by the bijou
one day I will be
standing gazing at her
for what is eternity
