You have so many sides my love
your facets sparkle, and
the odd times when you can relax
perhaps when its not planned
you almost wear an inner glow
a radiance that’s bright
and eyes that see so very much
of what is, the true light
listening to Joplin
all that passion in her voice
she illustrates your fervour
and in many ways your choice
and you are bolstered by the bluesy nature
the intense regard for swing
and you just pick up on it
and for you it has that ring
of a genuine individual
as Dylan’s genre shows
and Elvis and his rich clear voice
and his energy that flows
tonight the fire was comfortable
you wore a peaceful pose
so energised by Joplin
from your dark eyes to your toes
that purple top that hides a blue
suggestion looks a treat
and those leggings tight and
those slippers where the colours all compete
in many ways today created
charm and sensibility
for me a chance to share the love and peace
and the tranquillity
of just feeling included and in reality
of being part
of something nice and creative
that is just ruled, by the heart
a tenderness of feeling
to savour and admire
and even Sting was mentioned
with his sensitive attire
Yes I loved, I really loved today
it just well kind of flowed
you were so very beautiful
in fact in you it showed
so simply with your smiling eyes
and a peacefulness displayed
I thought you were so beautiful
and such thoughts will never fade
the more that I spend time with you
the many facets shine
you are a pretty prism
with a light I wish was mine
its rainbows are celestial
aradia so pure
and just being around you
presents in me a cure
