Niyamgiri and Vedanta

These bloody corporations
who gave them this power?
a heartless bunch of robots
who make our sweet world sour
the come in with their poison
their lust for bauxite, and
tear into the landscape
and just destroy the land

pollute the air
and water
destroy the plants and trees
walk over the indigenous
and refuse to hear their plea’s
they have lived there for ever
their culture is there,it is there’s
and in comes Vedanta with all of its banter
and out of that lot no one care’s

its blood lust and making more money
tear down the mountains and trees
rip out the life force
strip out the herbs
and their shits
blowing down on the breeze

the Niyamgiri
are honest people
who give
they live off the land and the mountains
this is the place where they live
and who the hell gives sick Vedanta
a reason to come and destroy
India what are you doing
its your land that they now employ

ignorant people to come there
destruction is all that they do
bio diversity goes out the window
break out and spew up and chew
everything natural and wondrous
life giving beauty was there
lots of wild animals beautiful birds
and all they feel is despair

sadness and sickness
and real broken spirits
vile filthy sods unaware
of what they are causing
of what they create
a desert where mountains and trees
gave so much energy to this sweet land
and its people are now on their knees

suffering from the pollution
seeing their forest mown flat
watching their mountains turned into dust
that is now where they are at
these vile corporations like great dinosaurs
clawing the earth with their steel
smashing the great rocks and crushing them
to
dust that pollutes all for real

I hate and detest what they’re doing
not a smidgen of respect for those who
have all the rights to be living
and are given their cards for life’s though
the indigenous people the first people there
they are the precious ones, they
must have the right to say Fuck off Vedanta
you just ain’t welcome today

and India ought to now back them
and so did we all for what we
are seeing abroad do we die on their sword
these monsters who come and just be
rotten and insensitive people
brain dead its money that’s all
they do not care tuppence for anyone else
they are the ones now who rule

the roost and the Niyamgiri
they can just
walk off and die
sit in the forest and bury their heads
and what I say to them, is why?
vedanta should go take a swift running jump
leave these sweet people to be
Fuck off to where you have come from Vedanta
and take away the misery
