Dolphins another thought about their intelligence

As we stop, and contemplate
more than our navels
we realise that other creatures, who
frequent this planet
really who share its
true attributes
also have the where for all to do
great things
it is not just human beings
though walking upright
tragically some be
crawling into dark holes
uncompromising evil
and baring teeth
with the utmost cruelty

the dolphin comes into
a new perception
a caring playful soul
something we’ve heard
with intelligence
beyond man’s own
we’re hearing
a social structure too
each has its role
to play
and can remember
friends and relatives
even if unseen
for many years
they call each other names
and we know that they
play games
each species has its gifts
and they have been

developing in silence
far beyond us
they have an innate mindset
and can be
amazing in their individual
prowess
and what is truly
synchronicity
