Arborial Apes The great Red Souls

Arborial Apes
the red soul, yes they
live in the trees
and we make them pay
the forest
that lust green paradise
where
Orangutan lives
bound up in despair

caused by the corporates
and superstores
the mangled brained profiteers
who create wars
burning the jungles
sending up smoke
that signals the end
for arborial folk

for the wonderful cure all’s
the trees and the plants
we just throw it out
we don’t think of chance
we valiantly tear down
and burn up each place
and plant bloody Palm oil
right now at a pace

this dark dismal tree
throwing shade everywhere
where rats and black cobras
fight for the air
turning a life force
into a dark hole
the Orangutan
such a wonderful soul

who is burned and is injured
his or her blood
is evident
really thud after thud
they fall from the branches
the flames flicker high
burning their skins off
and making them cry

and for what, so the corporate
clowns make their dosh
the superstore pads up the
ingredients
Gosh!
palm oil is everywhere
of course we see
its profits not prophets
and hoodlums who be

destroying the life force
the lungs oh! so green
burning the forests
with their vile machine
burning our babies
the earthlings who peer
out of the branches
riddled with fear

Borneo and iNDONESIA
begin to regret
for already the dust
it rises to set
the great red ape who
laments our arrogance
what can she do?
for her babies
they are dying
burned to a crisp
the agony tears at one’s
heartstrings
they lisp

they stutter
they yawn
and their tearful embrace
as one of them dies
so the whole human race
dies
just a bit
and the forest now shows
burned to a blackness
where now nothing grows

Palm oil who needs it
the corporates who
are making a killing
yes soon it will be you
as we tear more and more
of the fabric away
we weaken our lungs
and cause them to decay

Palm oil is profit for dumb nuts
who say
we are far better off with the palm
any day
thats because they make money
its no other reason
but on a factor of seriousness
its bloody treason

(treason)
