I am not a waste product
but often we are
wasted
by a dairyman
with a stick in his mitt
stolen from mother
thrown in with some other
unfortunate victims
we have seemingly bit

the dust as it were
we are babes to the slaughter
we can’t produce milk
only rennet for cheese
some dairies use that GM
chymosin actually
it is much cheaper
and does seem to please

and animal rights
don’t always come gunning
it don’t seem to register
cows are not sunning
themselves any more
in the back of some field
its all about milk
and increasing the yield

and if males are drinking the milk
right away
then there will be less for you
and of course we can’t pay
so it us for the chop
down the slaughterhouse we
go in a truck throats slit
hung up,and
cut off our legs
so no leg to stand
on, any more,
just a little more pain
and the lights then go out
on a life so in vain
