Dingo’s totems the aboriginal people and the Australian Government

Sacred totems
mean so little to
the bush babe city folk
the government in Canberra
oh please now do not joke
Dingo’s are some sort of beast
4 legs and a tail
who get up the nose of farmers
and for that they have to fail

aboriginal people
get little respect sadly
they were the first people
and still treated quite badly
dis respectful of their culture
instead we ignorantly
get the yanks to kill our wildlife
and that’s a tragedy
everywhere its happening
poisons laid as baits
I saw it in the bush myself
the unsuspecting waits
for any hungry wild soul
who picks it up and tries
a present from America
and a wee soul then dies

Dingo’s are a sacred soul
created not to be
poisoned in the bush
where they were born
effectively
the city folk should realise
the error of their ways
and stop this frightful poisoning
for its their own malaise
