Dedicated to my Facebook and Twitter friends (all of them)

To live on this revolving ball
together
each within the whole a space we share
gravity has made the whole thing possible
the ether in so many ways aware
many of us hopeful of assisting
in what is such a positive regard
to look upon this planet
and those we have come to know
on face book and on twitter
where we’ve starred

in the greatest possible
narrative that ever
topped the screens of life
for what we’ve done
is come together to meet
perhaps the maker
we all are makers
underneath the sun

each to our own striving
to make this world
a better place
for every living soul
every single earthling
that we share this planet with
to try and give them
all back some control

this is not a desert where resentment
and aggression forces some os us to cry
this is a shared environment
of wonderment
where souls are born
and other souls must die
but it isn’t and it musn’t
be a war zone
greed so in abundance
must be checked
we all can take a little
and give back much much more
share the wealth
share the health
and work within the law

The natural world is bountiful
we have the wind and rain
we have the sun the forest
the oceans and we’ve lain
together in the ether
across the great terrain
over mountains under the earth
where each of us did gain

a friendship we clasped hands together
and our hearts are one
we understand the principles
and each of us has done
something to reach out to all
and sundry and we share
happiness and tearfulness
and just being more aware

for my part I#m a poet
and a speaker and I know
I do not need a microphone
I speak and I can show
so many what I am feeling
the ether is the tool
to all my friends who know me
every time I call

I dedicate this poem
to all of you today
our vision is a shared one
for we have found a way
of communicating avidly
of doing what we feel
of really making a difference
for us its is for real

the earthwillkeep on turning
day and night we share
every place we go to
when we are aware
of the beauty and simplicity
then we have found our goal
be it by the sea or walking free
we all share the same soul

respect is what we offer
love is how we care
tears we have them sometimes
like raindrops in the air
smiles we have them often
stress we share that too
the animals the various peoples
all do what we do

lets come together all of us
lets show each other we
love this planet and each other
every plant and tree
every single insect
every single bird
every solitary single soul
that ever there could be

lets see them as equal
lets all offer love
lets wait for that tender hand
that comes from up above
we all have sky to look at
we all know light and day
we all share sleep and loving thoughts
and to each other say

thankyou just for being there
for giving and receiving
for loving and for caring
and for sharing and believing
everything is everyone’s
the planet we all share
committing to safeguarding it
and just being more aware

will propel us into the future
in a wonderful display
of caring and of sharing
and let us all now say
together one huge family
with likes and dislikes, we
are in it now to improve it
and create our history
