Coyote’s from the canine tribe being hunted by men with dogs

Its man’s obnoxious tendencies
his warped weird wanton ways
that clearly goes against the natural urge
and a malaise
of sorts builds up inside of him
based on his need to earn
to profit as a hunter
the natural world to spurn
its all about his ego
that does not come into play
within the animal kingdom
tw’een hunters and their prey

The Canines and the Felids
the different species tend
to concentrate on the ungulates
the old, the sick, they lend
less work and so less energy
in the capture and the hunt
its the humans though that change
things
and really try to punt

different habits really
its training so to say
which is often using diet
to try to get their way
starve an animal make him desperate
then may be they will
go after their own kind
with the thought to kill

generally it wouldn’t happen
amongst the carnivores
unless the soul was injured
or old these kinds of flaws
are seen and sort of trigger
that murderous response
but going after healthy beasts
they do not have that nonce

so men with 4 by 4’s
and dogs, aching for the kill
sent off across the wild flats
a Coyote’s blood to spill
is not exactly natural
its not what dogs should do
wolves would rarely do this
all canines prefer to

take on board the ungulates
the vegetarian tribes
they derive clean energy
we don’t need varied scribes
to tell us, it is obvious
and so it worries me
that dogs are trained to kill their own
transgressing totally

Coyote fox and wolf furs
are sought after it seems
and trappers and hunters with
a pack of dogs
using them in teams
may change the course of nature
and abuse the dogs
till they
go after other carnivores
with a view to make them pay
