He wears a cross
upon his chest
but most of what he wears
belongs to several animals
no wonder
he gets stares
from all and sundry
one can really
wonder how he ticks
wearing these dead animals
and how he can ever fix
their deaths with what he’s wearing
surely he can feel
the skin and hair
some awfully rare
but it does of course
reveal
an unconscious mentality
a preposterous mode of dress
putting the backs up
lots of souls
though still looking a mess
striding out so arrogantly
uncaring of the plight
of those trapped for their
precious skins
and not a bit contrite
one really has to delve
into the darkness
of the mind
to search to see
if any light
on him has ever shined
