Its an established fact of life
the corporate entities
see jungle
as a means to a good end
they want to pulverise existing resources
and put their cattle ranches there
they defend
the rights of those who make them
money,
cattle is a money spinner, they
are fed on gm soya
there’s meat and leather in it
lucrative contracts clearly which now pay
its very short term but the corporate
masters
all they want is money
for that’s power
they don’t look ahead
to years beyond, their lives
in that sense most of them
dont care now who survives
wild life like those darling
Pygmy elephants, but Tapirs, Pangolin’s and
more besides
are regularly poisoned and disposed of
to the corporates
Palm oil and ranching
it just rides
roughshod and
we see it really everywhere
its in the US too
wolves are being massacred
Coyotes and my view
the power the corporates have
with markets rising
support from bankers
seems to be the thing
sure we have the wild life
and conservationists
but money and big capital
are king
Unless this stranglehold
is broken rapidly
the present wildlife
seemingly will go
our forests being torn down
now alarmingly
and the wild life
it is just not in the flow
all the rich resources
being plundered
the indigenous are being
moved away
the guardians who created
all this wealth
within our lands
have felt the corporate
boot
and see the day
when planet earth
once rich and truly viable
is torn to smithereens
which is going to cost
wild animals and jungles
and vast oceans
maybe, unless we wake up soon
all lost
