Australia you are not listening are you?

Australia
have you not got better things to do
than go around the outback
killing Kangaroo
murdering the mothers
stomping on the young
is this what you call
hunting, sport have you rung
the last poor joey’s neck yet
you got to understand
they only live in Australia
the iconic little band
of marsupials the kangaroo
Quantas seems to feel
having them up on their wings
well that is for real

but everyday I’m hearing
the outback comes alive
not with wild life sadly
but the hunters who survive
all the criticism thrown at them today
for being bloody minded
in every single way
Hell is what your making
A continent of woe
the aboriginal the kangaroo
and fracking and what do you know
you seem bent on destruction
and maybe that will come
killing wildlife like you are
really leaves me numb
