and beaten mercilessly
it screams blue murder
but no one even blinks an eye
to see
and its murdered there in cold blood
on the streets so violently
China has to come to terms with this depraved
state of affairs
its philosophy and its history
now of course it shares
but its vile disastrous
treatment of animals now shows
that as the world looks closer
the cruelty just grows
its all matter of fact
to them
a cudgel and their dead
torn out of a cage just like a worthless
sack of bread
and all the time its crying
no one gives a damn
this is China on the streets
where anybody bloody beats
dogs and cats and pigs and sheep
in china
life for them is cheap
