Straight from the horse’s mouth

No doubt you’ve heard about the human
horse meat
the scandal seems to rock the meat trade and
everyone is up in arms about it
seemingly they do not understand
well let me try to fill you in about it
I’m a horse I know now what they do
buy us a for a pony down some market
and feed us on some crap oh yea its true

that why many of us do get nag like
our ribs protrude our hair is knotted fast
any reason really to get us to the abattoir
that is when we know the old dye’s cast
hooked up to some gantry,our throats slit, its the end
the pain is so intense it really makes no sense
the messages that humans try to send
then we’re cut up and put into bolognese
meat balls you just name it, we could be
labelled beef alongside chicken necks and bits of arse oles
pork, restructured meat,yes and meat glue, you can see
its all about the squeezing of the margins
the corporates are at it all the time
the abattoirs, the farmers, everybody’s getting sqeezed
and ultimately the fraudsters
and a rhyme
the quality is falling and the margins
get the squeeze
everyone is suffering from Romford to Belize
that’s the be and end all
and cows are blooming sad
that horse is being passed off as cow
humans are mad
they say, don’t they know the difference
but by the time it hits the plate
no one knows what’s in a dish
so as to compensate
who or what or how or why
for most don’t blooming care
as long as it is tasty and was cheap
they think its fair
