Wilderness( we are all its children)

We steal into the wilderness
at a peril to us all
we shoot, and kill its children
and as it does befall
it lays heavy on the hearts and minds
of all of us who care
who realise this planet
is for all earthlings to share

The wolf, a child of nature
we should respect its stance
wildness is the keyword
and they run a merry dance
with infamy and peril
brought on by man, who feels
he has the right to slaughter
although his heart reveals
a love in fact for wilderness
despite that, how he shares
is meaningfully apparent
in the darkest of his prayers

He steals into the wilderness
his blessings to proclaim
he moves along the indigenous
for them its one big game
there’s oil, there’s gas
there’s diamonds
any excuse that we
can come up with
there is Palm oil
its the new insanity
they tear down trees
dam rivers, oh yes,
thats where they be
all knowing ever growing
the latest almighty
the masters of the universe
and the other earthlings, they
can disappear forever
for them,
its judgement day!

Science and the Corporates
the select, bunch of fiends
who steal into our wilderness
working behind the scenes
employing puppet people
who mime to good effect
and the rest of us dumbed rapidly
imagining, they elect
spokespeople, but the select bunch
have agenda’s far and wide
they steal into our being
but in wilderness they hide
the wilderness where earthlings
the wilderness where few
wild ones live, where they were born
are doing what they always did
what they were born to do

Its as well that you remember
the Wolf now at your door
is not the apex predator
with bright eyes and a fierce jaw
its a great big corporate entity
a heartless bunch of fiends
who are scheming in the wilderness
to replace us with machines
