De-horning dairy cows is torture of the worst kind

Its a cowardly and a criminal
procedure
hot irons,bloodied wires,
de-horning tools
used by so called souls
whose cruel decisions
provide days of real suffering,
and calls
from those of us now party
to this torture
chopping horns and buds off
as you do
it is a brutal barbarism
carried out on cows
for whatever reason
how the law allows
what is in fact a wounding
of a creature in your care
its evilness personified
and how can that be fair
they bellow like the dickens
collapse in abject pain
suffer how they suffer
and what an awful stain
is left upon your character
to allow this its a sin
its really unbelievable
the world must make a din
when it happens to the Rhino’s
out in Africa
the world
knows that it is terrible
and the weight now that
is hurled
against those so called
poachers paid to do this
vile
mutilation to a beast
its hard to reconcile
that a company could be doing it
to its docile dairy herd
whose milk is taken from them
and now this has occurred
treated so abominably
its torture of a kind
that’s strikes the heart with
terror
and must destroy the mind
The consequences startle
that man can be so cruel
so insensitive and callous
which for me just does appal
