Why the Swan River?

I saw the Black Swans

The famous Black Swan

With their pretty red bills

and then they were gone

The passed on their name to

the river we see

That now runs through Perth

and back out to the sea

Its a breathtaking river

With a good tidal flow

Bull Sharks

are frequent visitors, you know

Down there at Frio

all manner of fry

Blue Swimmers and Jelly’s

could just pass you by
