Crying for it’s mother

A piglet clearly suffering
Empty sounds, apparently
The Meat Trade cares for nothing
What is a vulgate commentary
It’s never a true picture
A distorted image through and through
An awkwardness personified
A turgid glimpse that drew
Very little protest
From meat eaters for they
Excuse their vile iniquity
As purely a display
Of infirmity and dysfunction
Depression and decline
They fail to feel the agony
And their conduct down the line
Is callous and is selfish
Unfitting and wrong
Injudicious and improper
In this world they don’t belong.

Wales

A country of contrasts
Of history long
Of mountains and waterfalls
A land of song
Magically mystically marvellously so
It has its own language
And dragon you know
A friendly people
And forests and trees
neighbourly justice

Calves to the slaughter

A dairymen hoodlum
A scumbag of sorts
Manhandling babies
With soft vibrant thoughts
In front of a camera
Imagine his act
When nobody’s looking
Yes that is a fact
Torture harming and more torture

Snow and ice

A dawdling energy
Spreads over yonder
Heavy eyed drowsy
The mountains of white
Kind of euphoric
The sky blueing rapidly
A huge heap of forest
Pitch tar in spite
Of Seagulls on chimney pots
Warming the cockles
A high ermine frill
Sees Dolgellau below
The light bright and chalky
Just driven snow
And A picture so still
And an eternal glow

An Image of stillness
Of valid perspective
A force that affirms
Compelling to see
Starkness created
An artless indifference
The sage and the sorcerer
Both would agree

From an odd chimney
A primitive gust
In opportune
apparently just
Lost in the stillness
Its upward course
Irregular patterns
From A predictive source

A perFect stillness
Powerless to say
Somewhat exhausted
By the previous day
A vulnerability
Flaccidity seen
Shoddy and tumbledown
Craggy and green

Tufts of snow hang in tresses
Weighted and white
A dominant stillness
Ever so bright
A long drawn out forest
Strung out and dark
Un wrinkled and smooth
Surely making its mark
The sky ever changing
Unformed seemingly
Chaotic and nebulous
Blurred and furry.

From. My window

Blue sky
Glistening bushes
Crisp and crunchy snow
Robins, Sparrows and Blackbirds
Flying too and fro
Roofs all white
Fields all white
The family on their way
Their cat is in the parlour
And I stayed into day
A steaming mug of cacao
Some sough dough toast for me
Loads of brilliant sunlight
I decided I would be
Sitting on the sofa
Looking at the scenery
Working on my I pad
The safest
Place for me.

Coed y Brenin Forest Park Tyn-y-Groes

Over the cattle grid
Park up an see
The majestic ones
Each Douglas Fir Tree
Pushing into the sky
Enormously so
Aside the Mawddach’s
Energised flow

White water thrusting
And laying sedate
Pushing ahead
At a voluminous rate
It’s impulsive action
It’s immediacy
With belligerent force
Driving onto the sea

It’s impressive to share
The Welsh Mountain air
Reviving one’s spirit
The wind in one’s hair
Enthused and awakened
By river and sky
Being in the Kings forest
Thrilled just how high

These great trunks straight upwards
Their turbulent state
A towering tantrum
At a furious rate
These hundred foot
Giants massive they be
Unbelievable force
And rabid energy

It’s a wonderful walk
Accessible for
Almost anybody
The wind can be raw
But with Some gratification
From the cover one feels
A calming profusion
It all just appeals

The sounds and the sights
Bring an enchanting feel
Blessed with contentment
It’s all very real
It’s just awe inspiring
Unimaginably
The great heights and sounds
It’s just lovely to be

Part of the drama
The mysterious play
The trees seem to climb
In their characterful way
So much distinction
And lineage they
A true kingliness
And pride so to say

And the sounds of the river
Whose white water course
Waterfalls flourish
With amazing force
Exciting the senses
Reliably so
Concentrating the mind
To a fanciful flow.

Sunday in Dolgellau

Sunday ever changing
The truest Wintry scene
A great ball of light
Is hovering
It feels like a fight
It’s magnificence is plying
With the mist and cloud
Behold the forests trees laid bare
In what is a darkening shroud

An ever changing picture
For those of us aware
Some have braved the thickest snow.
Galoshes and the rest
And took themselves to the Spa, below
Their sinews for to test
The odd bird ventures out
It’s feather puffed with air
Counter current heat exchange
It’s fat reserves though rare

Endothermic blood supply
High energy food it craves
Venturing out in the ice and snow
It’s tenacity is what saves
It’s out today for certain
The mountains overcome
Hiding in the masks of mist
Where the bleakness leaves us numb

Hot cacao cayenne and lions Mane
Cinnamon that’s sweet
Warming up the cockels
Preparing for to eat
Some sour dough toast
Outside the sleet now falls
Stair roads of ice from faraway
Kind of over rules

Snow again abundant
The mountains once again
Swallowed up by the ucoming squall
And a darkening refrain
Tufts of snow cling avidly
In a quietening gloom
And all this drama plays out
From the safety of my room

Lauan. A tropical tree [stop abusing the Rainforests]

Camper vans are everywhere
It is the thing we know
In America and Australia
And Europe too
Numbers now grow
Leading to deforestation
orangutans they
Are suffering like crazy
As their trees are torn away
Indonesia and Borneo
Is witness to it all
Thousands of beautiful acres
Watching the hardwood fall
Tens of thousands of football fields
Rich peatland torn apart
For the RV Industry
It is breaking our heart
No FSC Certification
Orangutans once more
Are being threatened daily
By what is a silent war
Winnebago Jayco and Forest river
They
are profiting from
This unrestricted clear out
To day on day
Such vastness and such damage
The RV Industry
Has to be prevented
And made to pay
A plea
Nobody is hearing
Action EKO say
We have to wake up
Otherwise it will be judgement day

For the Orangutans

A Wintry Dolgellau

Snow blankets north Wales as weather warnings issued across UK youtu.be/QL98QyF3fuw?si… via @YouTube

The dominance of mountains whitened overnight
The sun brings out the diadems so much true delight
Lighting up the bushes everywhere one’s eyes
Are held by the transfusion so much to realise
The forests on the canopy a darkness follows through
And that Dolgellau makes it’s mark
It’s, what people do
Houses of stone and slate a remarkable estate
peacefulness and Winter
And it truly does feel great.

Strings

Festooned around
the mountains
apron
Strings of sparkling diadems
Vegetable strings
Growing wild on fragile stems
Illuminated by the sun
Paths of light
That the faeries spun
Underneath the bluest sky
Cloudless to
the naked eye
Staring this way
staring that
Shaded by a wintry hat
Dewi on his mixer
Rock dust his
A dry
stone wall
Grafting
it’s his will to do
Knarled his fingers
Several nails
broken some askew
And granite boulders
Soon will be
Laid to rest the bank to test
Which anyone can see.

The problem is so many
Don’t possess a way
They have eyes to see
But in fact they are blind
to factors they never will agree
To how their mind is missing
The fabric that is there
It’s all to do with knowledge
And no one deems to care

Buds bursting at Awelfa

Beautiful buds are bursting awake
Showing their crimson
For everyone’s sake
Under a blue sky
Fast turning grey
Cader Idris is not far away
Sunk in the mist
As the snow flakes fly
Rose hips their thorns
Hold a magician’s eye
On a winters day
Maybe far away
But close to
Sits a bird in view
A tiny Sparrow
A seagull high
And once again a pale blue sky.

Camels

Camels are bold and courageous
They work harder every day
And still they are so badly treated
It’s a great shame that these victims pay
Such a high price for their struggle
Misunderstood it appears
Sentient beings deserve our respect
Instead we create awful fears
We beat them we torture them
Every day
They were put here by God

Tea drinking

Britain a nation of tea drinking, seemingly
Buying from super stores
Mostly these days
Whole leaf apparently
Has gone out the window
It’s fannings and tea dust
That most people see
It’s all about profit
And making the margin
It’s all about tea bags
And colour and taste
Remembering how tea was
First drunk, it’s awful
Hot water and tea leaves
A Flavoursome brew
Now supermarkets are
Pushing out garbage
It’s all about price
Alas that is true

All the main brands
Are increasing the fannings
Only the specialist brewing
We see
Whole leaf and plastic free tea bags
It’s sad
But this is whatsvhappening
Apparently

Tea gardens use some really
Bad chemicals pesticide residues
They can be high
PFA’s in tea bags plastics alas
It’s all about margins
I ask myself why

People allow themselves
To be mistreated
Yes down to price
And each cuppa alas
Is serving up crap in a cup
If you ask me
And truthfully now
This happens en masse

Biodynamics is out there
Darjeeling teas
Silver tips and the rest
Beautiful safe growing
Surrounded by jungle
Steiner’s true principles
Nature intact
Herbals and whole leaves
Neem trees and wild flowers
And organic pasture
An honourable fact

Pay a bit more
For a true tea a specialist
Who care for their soil
And the workers who be
Alive to the fact
That it’s a wonderful world
Where natures abounds
And organically
Grown to really the highest sod standards
Worth every penny
Worth every cent
Honestly folks

From Hampstead and Makaibari

Having visited and stayed there I saw with my own eyes
That so many of the plantations are very poorly
Looked after rubbish is dumped on them
The jungle has gone and chemicals are the mainstay
Of production
Neem trees grow wild but have been chopped down wild flowers grow in abundance but have been pulled up

Biodynamics is a paradise of true nature butterflies and birds in abundance

The workforce are taken advantage of they follow the biodynamic principles to a tee

Octopus

Octopus seemingly farmed
Now apparently
Adapted to oceans these wonderful souls
Able to use tools
Unlike the fools that
Capture them cook them eat them alive
Numb nuts whose vile guts
Should never survive
So very sensitive creatures
Pain threshold
Seriously low
But humanity
Fails to appreciate their true intelligence
Sentient souls with a wish
To be free

Known as live exports actually it’s evil exports

It’s known as live exports
They just about are
Alive but not kicking
Exhausted and far
Sicker than most
On a voyage far away
Without food or water
Having to pay
In stress and in agony
And pain and woe
Being thrown about
By the sea as most know
Crushed by each other
No dr on hand
Just the stench of death
Which humans have planned
The voyage to their death
Halal in the street
Imagine their fears
Hell is complete
How humans allow this
This torture this crime
Thus evil horrendously

Freeze Branding

Free Branding is awful
It’s vile and it’s wrong
Farming is harming
It doesn’t belong
The agony felt
By a sentient soul
Is a absolute cruelty
Out of control
A cows backside hurts
When it’s branded this way
Humanities ciwardice
What is there to say
The poltroons are at it
Craven as Hell
Hopelessly cynically
Vulgar

A sad Christmas Wail

The Meat Trade
Is guilty
The Dairy Trade too
All of these killings
I tell you I am through
For more than half a century
I ‘ve watched them die
Tortured to death
Even cooked in a pie
Bits of dead animals
Cups of calf snot
Blood pus and infant food
You like a lot
Custard and ice cream and
Cheese on your plate
Babies are dying
At a huge rate
So many corpses
So Many sighs
So many teardrops
Falling from the skies

Pigs without care without clean sty’s

Deformities are everywhere
Pesticides it isn’t fair
Pigs are kept in dirty sty’s
Hot and smelly they realise
Without sweat glands
They suffer so
before birth and afterwards you know
Bodies filthy caught on hooks
Injured and sickly unusual looks
Swollen joints and broken legs
Seen as just forgotten dregs
Walking injuries every day
Cancerous swellings and dismay

Our death equals your sausage

Into the chambers
Where death is by gas
Loaded together
Death comes en masse
The utter frustration
Fear fright and pain
Bruised by each other
In a death roll in vain
Biting and praying
Staying the course
Death shared so frightfully
YES Stolen by force

Female operatives in the Piggery

A female an executioner torturer she be
Working in a pig farm
Where now we can see
Implements so frightening
Used to harm and hurt
To pay for the overcrowding
They suffer in the dirt
Torn testicles ripped tails
No anaesthetics here
Just viciousness and ugliness
And the most calamitous fear
🐖

We are together waiting for the end

All of a sudden it’s over
Our togetherness broken
As we
Are one by one slaughtered
For someone like you
Who loves roasted death
As some do
A life that’s cut short
On a whim so to say
So that you can taste blood
A poor souls has to pay
Has to witness his own death
And that of his friends
Being vegan of course
Where all this horror ends

Sheepishly we die together

He pats them
He comforts them
The executioner, He
Sees them all feeling
Together you see
One after another
Their throats, he will slice
They will bleed out together
Isn’t that nice
Imagine that fear
Knowing your breath
And your blood will be leaking
Into your death

Karma

Those consumers eating dead flesh
Make excuses why
That the process incurs torture and agony
The sigh
So what we are born to eat them
And most these days are killed
Without the godly stunning stage
So compassion is not fulfilled
They sense death is upon them frightened yes they be
Brains coddled and sworn at
And beaten constantly
Dead flesh eating comes with
Karma
Which may affect you

Brigette Bardot

Courage and commitment
To a freedom she possessed
As a women she was powerful
Imaginative and purposeful
And exceptionally blessed
Animals had touched her heart
She understood their pain
So many people dismissed her
And showed her their disdain
How innocent so many were
The Seals clubbed on the ice
Babies nursing
Reimbursing
Such cruelty
Suffice to say the fur trade
She was adamant
And she was able to
Try hard to protect them
And the many clueless who
Ignored her, couldn’t feel their pain
And all those vile laboratory’s
Where innocent angels were crucified
All manner of experiments
Their silenced cries
again
She heard them tugging at her heart
And seemingly in vain
She fought for them
She shared her love
Her position helped her, she
Took on the animal Rights campaigns
Against all odds
A free

Thinking caring thoughtful soul
Halal another sense
Of punitive destruction
Her agony immense
Pain and left to suffer
As life ends, she could feel
The terrible affliction
That apparently some conceal

Welfare caring about the animals
Pigeons and Dogs she knew
She knelt down to their level
She held their hearts in view
Their loyalty their immense charm
She took on board for she
Was truly very sensitive to
The massive cruelty

She died an Angel willing
To fight for those dear souls
Innocently she brokered
Tending to their roles
Fighting for their freedom
Giving them her all
She will never be forgotten

Zip ship

Polar Bears are suffering
Ice melting everywhere
Many are too skinny now
Seemingly unaware
Born to live in icy climes
But now alas for they
Are watching glacier’s melt and fall
Almost every day
Coming closer to humanity
Zip ship seemingly
Has made a cartoon figure

Thousands of Ducks

As children I was taught
The ducks were special
By my parents
On Sunday we would feed the ducks
A lot of families did agree
Wild birds need supplementation
It’s something good to see
And all the while
The Meat Trade
Farms
Imprisons ducks
And yes it harms
These pretty creatures
As we know
Their popularity it doth grow
Kept in cages every day
Crammed in where they have to stay
Murdered blithely heads left on
Eyes wide open
Sight though gone 🦆🪿🦆🪿

Like ducks to slaughter

Eyes wide open
seeing nothing
Feet intact
no chance to run
Killed and in a vile contraption
Ducks their feathers
all but done
Around and round
the merry go round
Death and destruction
that’s their plight
The duck slaughter
in the water
Under any circumstances
how can this be right

Vegan poets know a thing or two about death

The inevitable
It’s happening
Over our heads they roll
Feathers ripped off painfully
The humans lost their soul
Here we are blessed with life
By a god apparently
But Christmas is the magic word
And the ignorant now be
Culpable to murder
The markets make it clear
Eating meat is the thing we do
And we all died in fear
Hearing our fellow others
Tortured till they cried
As for vegan poets
That lot are denied

This catastrophic melee
In every slaughterhouse and farm

Nurses work on Christmas Day

Getting to the hospital
Might be an hour away
An all night shift
The stresses of family life
Let’s pay
Attention to these angels
Each face of smile and joy
Concerned about their own families
Yes, the NHS employ
Angelic souls all ages
Young trainees obviously
Older angels soulful lasses
Working constantly
Patients needs are many
Family and nurses star
on hand to give
And serve with verve
That is who they are.
